LGBT history is becoming more and more widely researched as historians and academics embrace a more inclusive view of history. Knowing how to approach historical research on an underrepresented community can be daunting for new researchers, and requires some creative approaches. This workshop, led by Ruth Ott, will provide students with a framework for approaching LGBT historical research with nuance and enable them to conduct research that embraces historical complexity.
