This webinar/talkback will feature Dr. Rebecca Campbell Professor of Psychology at Michigan State University. Dr. Campbell will explain the brain's response to trauma, and how trauma affects survivors' reaction to the crime, and their ability to remember details of the assault. A talk back following the webinar will be lead by Grand Valley State University VAWA grant director, Theresa Rowland. The training is important for all those that work with victim.survivors of sexual assault or dating/domestic violence. The series is FREE. For social workers needing CEU's for licensing requirements this will be available at no charge on site.
