Growing up as the youngest of nine children on the east side of Detroit, Rev. Joe Jones came to believe early in life that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of his or her origin.
Today, Rev. Jones honors this principle through public service in Grand Rapids, where he has served as Second Ward City Commissioner since 2016. Rev. Jones has also been President and CEO of the Grand Rapids Urban League since 2011, leading an organization that promotes economic empowerment and civil rights for minority communities.
Join us as Rev. Jones shares his personal and professional leadership lessons with our Cook Leadership Academy Fellows and our community.
