Corey Dolgon has been performing “singing lectures” for almost two decades. Focusing on the role that folk songs play in the U.S. labor movement, Dolgon’s words and music bring both history and theory to life.

Dr. Dolgon is a Professor of Sociology at Stonehill College in Milton, Massachusetts. He earned his Ph.D in American Culture from the University of Michigan. He is a long-time labor activist and community organizer who has used folk songs to build solidarity on the line and engage students in the classroom.
