Crossing Over is a multi-character canvas about immigrants of different nationalities struggling to achieve legal status in Los Angeles. As an agent with Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Los Angeles, Max Brogan (Harrison Ford) is a daily witness to struggles of those who try to cross U.S. borders in search of a better life. For Brogan and his associates, the impact of immigration goes beyond their jobs and defines their lives. The film deals with the border, document fraud, the asylum and green card process, work-site enforcement, naturalization, the office of counter terrorism and the clash of cultures.
