This program will involve the viewing of Sick Around the World, which is a PBS FRONTLINE production. The documentary features veteran Washington Post foreign correspondent T.R. Reid as he examines five other capitalist democracies. The countries of the United Kingdom, Japan, Germany, Taiwan and Switzerland and health care experts and practitioners from each nation are interviewed. This film looks at health from a global perspective and aims to determine what the United States might learn from the successes and their failures of other countries around the world.
