This program will involve thew viewing and discussion of The Unnatural Causes Series segment: Place Matters.
The Place Matters episode focuses on the health and well-being of minorities living in neglected urban areas. Profiles and discussion of the residents include life expectancy, disease, environmental quality, poverty and many other issues that affect quality of life. Public policies are presented and their impact on health is examined.
Small group discussion and reflection will be facilitated after the viewing.
