As part of GRCC and GVSU's 2019 Tournées French Film Festival, the French film "The Workshop" / "L'Atelier" will be screened at GRCC's Applied Technology Center Auditorium (Room 168) starting at 6 p.m. Friday November 22nd. The Auditorium is located at the corner of Ransom and Fountain Street in downtown Grand Rapids. Street or structure parking is readily available nearby.
Tournées films are in French with subtitles in English and free and open to the general public. Bring a friend! Venez nombreux!
"The Worshop/L'Atelier" is a mystery-drama by director Laurent Cantet (The Class, Human Resources) that takes place in the famous city of La Ciotat on the French Riviera (site one of the Lumière Brothers' earliest films). A writing workshop boils over into real life. Contains some violence. It is not rated. Discussion in English and French before and after the film.
