French Film "Frantz"

As part of a centenary commemoration of World War I (1914-1918), and in the context of Grand Rapids' Tournées French Film Festival, the French Sections of Grand Valley State University and of Grand Rapids Community College presents "Frantz" a French production (Director François Ozon) that tells the tale of a young German woman whose fiance was killed in World War I, and the remorse of the French soldier who killed him.
The film is in French and German, with English subtitles.
Admission is FREE. Students, guests and all members of the Grand Rapids' community are cordially welcome to attend.
Tournées Film Festival is made possible with the support of the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the U.S., the Centre National du Cinéma et de l’Image Animée (CNC), the French American Cultural Fund, Florence Gould Foundation and Highbrow Entertainment.
