Drawing on her 30 year career in information technology, international business, and higher education, Mary Coucher will share insights into the leadership, teamwork and management skills needed for the future of our world.
In her current role as the Vice President of Intellectual Property Management for International Business Machines Corp. (IBM), Mary is currently responsible for various aspects of IBM's intellectual Property business including Patent and Technology Licensing, Engineering, Geography Business Development and Financial Operations. Her scope includes technical support of IBM's $1 billion income licensing business, and deal negotiations across the globe with a wide variety of clients and IBM's research labs. She has also served on several boards and councils for Oregon State University and the Oregon Institute of Technology, primarily in the areas of business and engineering.
