On April 12, 2018 AIM will be having the 2nd annual first generation program. A panel represented by some of the brightest student athletes, commanders, advisors, and mentors who attend Grand Valley State University. As leaders of this campus we must continue to stress the importance of unity on and off campus. We will extend our experiences, connections, and our attention towards building a better bridge for education. Upon this panel these ambassadors will discuss what college is like, as well share some of their experiences to help successfully guide their hidden mentee down a easier path. Could this in the end help improve college acceptance rates in the future? In addition, can we take this program to other schools?
