Did you know, when you start your ‘real world job’ you will have options to save for retirement, you will need to pick an insurance carrier and let’s not forget about establishing credit, buying a home and you know it’s highly suggested that you have a budget to manage your funds. Are you prepared to do all of this PLUS work your way up the promotional ladder, give back to your community, learn new knowledge and skills and also have a social life?

If not, please join Eric Hoogstra and Neal VandenBerg for 2 sessions on planning for all of those things!

  • Feb 6th: retirement, insurance and budgeting
  • Feb 8th: establishing credit and buying a home

This event is OPEN to all students.  An RSVP for each event is required for food & beverage planning purposes.

Please bring a laptop or digital device so that you can start to prepare a digital budget during the event.

The event is hosted by student organization: The ESSU

The Enterprise Systems Student Union (ESSU) is the first student organization, open to all majors, at GVSU created specifically for students interested in Enterprise Systems/ERP.  The purpose of this organization is to provide a better understanding of enterprise systems and to provide a link between the university and companies who utilize enterprise systems.  The organization hosts the ERP speaker series, provides networking opportunities with companies, conducts resume workshops and practice interviews, and provides tutoring to management information systems students.
