This is the last installment of a series of events intended to give GVSU students an opportunity to spend a day exploring some of the exciting areas beyond our campus. They are designed with both structured and unstructured exploration and include spending time in both natural & urban settings.
Participants on the Holland trip will have an opportunity to hike through Riley Trails & explore downtown Holland. The hike through Riley Trails is considered moderate(2-6 miles) with rolling terrain, beech-maple forest, pine plantations and a small lake. Beyond the hike, your time in Holland will be yours to spend as you choose. Visit www.Holland.org to learn more about your options.

Instructions: The van will leave from the Fieldhouse circle drive (across from Mackinac hall. Participants should plan to arrive by 9:45am.
Packing List: Participants should plan to carry any belongings they may need as access to the van may not always be readily available. The following items are recommended:
small backpack, water bottle, hat/ sunglasses, warm sweatshirt/ jacket, comfortable shoes, sunblock, snacks, spending money.
Meals: Any food/ meals will be on your own.
