DESIGN THINKING IN LIFE OR SCHOOL WITH ELA BEN-UR
Date and TimeWednesday, November 28, 2018
9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
- Holton Hooker Learning and Living Center » 121A - Multipurpose Room
What projects are you tackling—or guiding—in school or life? Whether we're planning a course, doing a class project, creating a presentation—or working on time management or planning a holiday trip—a little design thinking can make a big difference. Ela will give examples and then invite you to give it a try, on your own or with a team.
This event is open to all GVSU students, faculty, and staff free of charge. Community members are also welcome for a fee of $10. Light refreshments will be provided. Registration for "Design Thinking in Life or School" is required.
This event is part of the Design Thinking Speaker Series. In over 20 years in Design Thinking at MIT, IDEO (the design firm that helped articulate design thinking), and Olin College, Ela Ben-Ur has worked to make it accessible as a shared language for creativity and experimentation across disciplines and contexts.
Ela will be on campus November 27th and 28th to give a few presentations/workshops on the Innovators’ Compass– a framework she has developed to help people creatively address challenges big and small.
