Description
Internationally acclaimed Amsterdam-based artist, Cyril Lixenberg is a printmaker and sculptor of monumental steel works who has played an important role in modern Dutch art movements.
Lixenberg has become a familiar member of the West Michigan art community. His most recent public sculpture commission, Steel Water, is located along the Grand River next to the downtown J.W. Marriot Hotel. Lixenberg has donated to Grand Valley State University’s Print and Drawing Cabinet an original of every print produced in the course of his notable 40-plus year career, as well as small models of his large-scale steel sculptures.
Held in conjuction with Grand Valley State University's 50th Anniversary.
