Climate Change Advocacy Meeting
Date and TimeMonday, December 4, 2017
4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
- SCB 4002
The ongoing impact we as individuals and organizations have on the environment is an issue that many in west Michigan care deeply about and search for effective ways to address. To further that end, the KBEI is holding ongoing meetings involving leaders from businesses, non-profit organizations, and academia to discuss effective advocacy strategies at the state and federal level.
The next meeting of the Climate Change Advocacy Group will be taking place this December at Grand Valley State University's Seidman College of Business. The issues of carbon taxation, neighborhood efforts, education and raising awareness, and looking ahead towards the future of climate change advocacy will be emphasized.
Light refreshments will be available.
These forums are open to director-level executives and higher or their representatives.
