This is a time of tremendous change in the healthcare system. Dr. Burke will explore this topic in the dynamic context of Critical Care Medicine.
Rob earned his B.S. degree in Biomedical Sciences (1996) which included working in microbial research in Anthony Nieuwkoop’s lab. Afterward, he trained at Wayne State University (MD), Henry Ford Hospital (Internal Medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care) and University of Michigan (Masters in Public Health).
He applied his research and clinical skills to critically ill patients with advanced Sarcoidosis, publishing critical articles on their care.
In addition to his active practice in Warren, Michigan, he is the Director of Respiratory Care Services St. Johns-Macomb Hospital and Medical Director of the Macomb Community College Respiratory Therapy Program.
