Description

GVSU in collaboration with Spectrum Health, Region 6 Healthcare Coalition and the Kent County Health Department will be running a mock exercise to set up and run an Alternate Care Site within the Cook-DeVos Health Sciences Building (CHS) . In the event of a disaster or large-scale public health emergency causing an increased demand for medical care whereas current Spectrum Health facilities can no longer accommodate the number for individuals seeking care, it has been established that CHS will be opened to house an Alternated Care Site under the direction of Spectrum Health.
