Healing Children of Conflict (HCC) is hosting a talk by renowned Palestinian Anglican priest and theologian, the Reverend Naim Ateek. The Rev. Ateek established the Sabeel Ecumenical Liberation Theology Center in Jerusalem in 1991, prior to which he served as Canon of St. Georges Cathedral in the same city. He has also also served as parish priest in Haifa and Nazareth and is the author of several books on Israel/Palestine and on the topic of Liberation Theology. Rev. Ateek's talk will take place on GVSU's Allendale Campus of GVSU, in Lake Michigan Hall, Room 114 at 3:00 PM. His talk is co-sponsored by the Arab Culture Club and by Peace MEans as well as by GVSU's Middle East Studies and Religious Studies Programs.
