Tiered Support Options

3-tiers of assistance for SAP assignments:

  • First, use the Solutions Database (online) to search for your problem.
    • If answer is not found…
  • Second, use the Forum (online) to ask for assistance to a problem from classmates and student workers.
    • If answer is not found…
  • Third, you can provide the specific error code during Face-to-Face SAP Assignment Assistance Help Desk or Over The Phone SAP Assignment Assistance Help Desk.

Level-1. Solutions Database

  • Connect to the GVSU VPN
  • Connect to the Portal
    • http://www.gvsu.edu/erp
    • Click on the "SAP Assignment Support" dropdown
    • Click on "Portal Login" (This will bring you to the login screen. Enter in your username and password in the corresponding fields. Your username and password is the same as your blackboard login information.)
    • Go to “Students” tab and then select “Solutions Database”
    • Click on “SCB Solution Database”
  • Use key words to search for your problem
  • View the pdf file : student level solution

Level-2. Forum

Forum

  • Connect to the GVSU VPN
  • Connect to the Portal
    • http://www.gvsu.edu/erp
    • Click on the "SAP Assignment Support" dropdown
    • Click on "Portal Login" (This will bring you to the login screen. Enter in your username and password in the corresponding fields. Your username and password is the same as your blackboard login information.)
    • Go to Go to “Students” tab and then select “Forums”
    • Select the forum for your class.
  • Submit your questions with:
  • Exercise name
  • Your assigned number / “identifier”,
  • The problem:  At what step #, what the error states
  • Get your “guidance” within 1 business day by your classmates
  • Student Workers will wait 1 business day before responding to allow peer assistance
