We will be using an active Groundswell project at CA Frost Environmental Academy as our &quot\;case study&quot\; as their work wonderfully incorporates student voice and community involvement through pollinator yard awareness.&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nWhile we will refer back to the CA Frost project and the&nbsp\;option&nbsp\;of incorporating civics education into your project throughout the workshop\, please know that all educators of all subjects and project interests are welcome and encouraged to join in and learn. Please email groundswell@gvsu.edu if you have questions about how our theme will play a role in content this year.\n\n\n\n\n\n	The first 40 educators to register and attend their required days will receive a $200 stipend! (Kent and Ottawa County educators only)\n\n	Receive 15-20 hours of SCECHs! DESCRIPTION:The Center for Undergraduate Scholar Engagement\, the Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarship (OURS) and the Student Scholars Day Faculty Planning Committee are thrilled to welcome you to the 31st annual Student Scholars Day conference. This year&#39\;s theme will be announced in the Fall Semester\, and the registration process to participate in SSD will open early in Winter Semester 2027. Keep an eye on this page and on your email inbox for more information as it becomes available.\n\n\n\nStudent Scholars Day (SSD) celebrates scholarship\, research\, and creative work performed by GVSU students. Beginning as a single-day research symposium almost 30 years ago\, SSD evolved into a multi-day event that celebrates the scholarly process and showcases faculty-mentored student work. Student presentations will be on Wednesday\, April 14\, 2027.
