DECEMBER SPOTLIGHT: JESSICA BROWN
GVSU Alumni 2012
Since Jessica was a young girl, she has known that she wanted to work in the criminal justice system. So after graduating high school in 2008, she had decided to major in criminal justice. However, her journey with Grand Valley State University didn't start until 2009.
During her time at GVSU, she completed 2 internships and was involved in community service events. Three years later, she graduated with a BS in Criminal Justice (minor: sociology) in December 2012.
After graduation, Jessica completed two years of national service (AmeriCorps NCCC and AmeriCorps VISTA). Currently, she is working as a judicial clerk and looking forward to receiving her master's degree from Keiser University Graduate School in July 2020.
