Laker Effect Challenge: Voting Opens

Description
The Laker Effect Challenge builds on the idea of collective impact of the GVSU community on individual students, West Michigan, our state, and beyond. Lakers are driven by our passion for learning and using knowledge for the common good. We make a difference by focusing on others and making lasting contributions.
Submission should be from individuals or groups at GVSU working in collaboration with a community partner. Projects should be aimed at solving a real problem, and demonstrate leadership and advocacy aimed at shaping the future. The seven projects with the top votes will be invited to present their idea in five minutes, and all submitters will be invited to participate in a poster competition on Challenge day (November 30).
Presentation winners will split a financial award of $5,000. The winning poster will receive $500
