Funding Programs for Translating Innovations into the Commercial Market

Description
Accelerating the transfer of new innovations from Michigan’s universities, hospital systems and nonprofit research centers to the private sector, is at the heart of several early-stage programs supported by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation Entrepreneurship & Innovation initiative.
Join us for an afternoon, beginning with lunch, to learn more about MEDC programs that support the commercialization of innovations with funding, experienced mentorship and industry collaboration. Learn details about the Michigan Translational Research Commercialization (MTRAC) Program Innovation Hubs that support life science, ag bio, advanced transportation and advanced materials technologies statewide. Meet with program directors during targeted presentations and wrap up the afternoon with an educational workshop focused on customer discovery strategies to refine the value proposition for early-stage technologies.
