All Community Outreach Week events have been cancelled.
The recent issues surrounding COVID-19 require us to adhere to best practices. For the safety and well-being of the GVSU community, all Community Outreach Weeks events scheduled for Saturday, March 21 - Saturday, March 28 have been canceled.

Participants will be preparing meals in the kitchen at Meals on Wheels Western Michigan whose mission is to provide quality nutrition services in a supportive environment to promote health and independence of older adults.
- Clothing must be clean and without rips or holes. No shorts/ dresses or skirts where legs are exposed. Please do not wear shirts with buttons or pants that touch the floor if volunteering at the kitchen, dining sites, or senior pantry.
- Shoes must be closed toe-no sandals, flip-flops, or heels. Non-slip shoes are recommended.
- Hair long enough to touch the collar must be tied back and the provided hair nets must be worn if working around food.
- We advise you not to wear jewelry, with the exception of your wedding band or stud earrings, due to the fact that we may ask you to remove them while preparing food and do not want you to risk the loss of these items.
