Approach to Therapy: My approach focuses on developing a strong collaborative relationship with my clients and helping you facilitate the type of change you seek to make in your life. I listen carefully to your needs and help identify the most salient aspects you seek to change. Underlying my work is a focus on building a trusting working relationship that allows for greater insight and understanding of life experiences. However, there is not one therapeutic approach that fits all, which is why I work closely with you to identify your own needs and goals. Therapy may include focusing on developing “tools” to help manage emotions and thoughts, support in healing from past experiences, or assistance developing healthy behavioral patterns.
