Approach to Therapy: My approach to therapy emphasizes the development of self-compassion and acceptance of emotions. I focus on the context of behaviors that are no longer functioning to serve the student well and working towards values-based actions. I believe that therapy should be affirming of all aspects of diversity and the impact of intersecting identities on symptoms should be discussed. As a therapist, I aim to create a transparent and warm relationship with each student in which we can work towards building a life worth living.
