Approach to Therapy: I mainly utilize an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy approach to help folks get “unstuck” and move towards a life worth living. Together, we look at ways avoidance pain plays a role in perpetuating suffering, we explore what new actions to take, and we discuss how to have a different relationship with our thoughts and feelings. I also am sure to ground our work in the context of our specific life circumstances and intersectional identities.

Areas of Clinical Interest:

  • Trichotillomania and other Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors
  • Trauma
  • Working with LGBTQIA+ Identified Folks

Self-Care:

  • Walks/hikes with my dog
  • Drawing
  • Video games (I'm not skilled in them, but I still love them!)
  • Listening to music while driving

Fun Fact/s:

  • I have a 1-year-old Pomeranian named Samwise.
  • I know way too much about Batman comics.
  • I am learning how to roller skate.
