Approach to Therapy: I believe every person is unique, having experiences and perspectives that make us distinct. To that end, in therapy I see students as the experts on their lives, while I serve as a guide to help navigate concerns and areas of growth in a collaborative effort. Family dynamics, past experiences, and self-perceptions are of great interest to me and I often utilize a CBT perspective when working with clients. Ultimately, I strive to enhance the wellbeing of others as I affirm their personhood, cultivate a relationship of trust, and provide a warm atmosphere where voices are heard, valued, and empowered.
