Approach to Therapy: I want students to view therapy as a safe space for healing and for them to process their experiences. I approach therapy utilizing a trauma informed integration of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and Interpersonal Techniques. I want to acknowledge the intersection of identities and life experiences that impact one’s identity. With this, I strive to be person-centered working collaboratively with the client to set their own mental health goals. I want to empower students through therapy so that they can be successful in college and for many years after.
