GradFest Fall 2017
GradFest is a traditional event held before Commencement celebrating students' success. Join the celebration while you pick up your cap and gown, and visit all of the exhibitors, enjoy a slice of cake, and pick up your graduation gift from the Alumni Association table.

Bachelors: $28.50 (tax included)
Masters: $54.00 (tax included)
Cash, check, or credit cards are accepted.
After GradFest, caps and gowns can be purchased at the LakerStore on either campus and the prices will increase to:
Bachelors: $31.80 (tax included)
Masters: $60.90 (tax included)
There will be a professional photographer on site so come dressed to take a professional photograph in your cap & gown or grab your friends for a group picture! You can purchase photos for $1 at GradFest or purchase later on Heather Dixon Photography.
If you can not make it to GradFest, please call the LakerStore (616-331-2450) to purchase your cap and gown and have it shipped to you.
The GVSU Laker Store will be offering a 20% discount on all Alumni apparel the entire week of GradFest. Visit either store location or shop online at lakerstore.gvsu.edu from November 27 - December 2 to take advantage of this offer.
Get a FREE patriotic cord! GVSU students who:
- Served in the US Armed Forces;
- Shall complete all degree requirements for Winter or Spring/Summer 2017; and
- Will be attending Commencement at Van Andel Arena on Saturday, December 9, 2017.
Anyone who meets these requirements are eligible to obtain a red, white, and blue recognition cord at GradFest, or from the Office of Student Life after GradFest.

Haven't ordered your tickets online yet? Have questions about walking in the ceremony? Walk through the process with the Commencement staff during GradFest and get a better picture of what the Commencement Ceremony will look like!
Professional photographer and GVSU Alumna, Heather Dixon, will be on site to take photographs of you in your cap & gown or with a group of friends. Individual pictures will be available for purchase for $1 (cash) or $2 (credit card). A CD of photos will be available for $5 (cash), $7 (credit card) or opt to have them posted on line at Heather Dixon Photography.
Invite your friends to join you for a picture or two! Please ask them to wait in the designated area until you are next in line for your photos, as our space is tight. The session is time-limited so determine your poses beforehand to help speed up the process!
Want your picture with Louie? He’ll be in Allendale on Wednesday, November 29 from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. or Downtown on Thursday, November 30 from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m.
