Best Online Graduate Education Programs
January 11, 2018
GVSU’s online Master of Education (M.Ed.) programs in Literacy Studies and Educational Technology were ranked by U.S. News & World Report as Best Online Graduate Education Programs for 2018. Both online M.Ed. programs were developed and are taught by tenured and tenure-track faculty in the College of Education. The courses incorporate email and video communications, and serve students who reside outside the local geographic area. Both programs also provide virtual online advising for students, with support available from the College of Education, the Graduate School, and Grand Valley State University.
Concerning the quality of the online programs, the majority of the online education classes are recorded and archived so students can access the information on their time. Ninety percent of students are already employed when they first enroll, and Grand Valley State University does not require applicants to have taken the GRE exam.
Grand Valley State University was also recognized as the #3 Top Public School for 2018 Universities in the Midwest region.
