GVSU College of Education’s Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Technology online program was recently recognized as one of the Best Online Programs: Master’s in Education by This is the second recognition this year for GVSU’s online M.Ed. program, as the program was also recognized earlier in the academic year as one of U.S. News & World Report’s Best Online Graduate Education Programs.

The M.Ed. in Educational Technology was the first GVSU master's degree program offered completely online. The program is designed for those living outside of Kent, Ottawa and Muskegon counties. However, the program is also offered with a hybrid option (online and face-to-face classroom sessions) for those who reside in or close to the Grand Rapids area. Through this program, K-12 educators learn how to integrate and maximize classroom technology use, access cutting-edge information, and build ongoing leaning communities and networks.
