Countless individuals serve Michigan's schools as paraprofessional educators in both instructional and non-instructional capacities. Faculty and staff in the College of Education and Community Innovation at Grand Valley State University are well-prepared to support individuals working in Battle Creek Public Schools as paraprofessionals who are interested in pursuing a teaching certification to become a future teacher. GVSU faculty and staff will collaborate with Battle Creek Public Schools in determining the needed resources and supports to develop individualized and efficient pathways for current paraprofessionals to gain teacher certification.
