Fall 2021 Classics Alumni Workshop Series

September 16, 2021

Join us for the first installment of our 2021-2022 Classics Alumni Workshop series!  This Fall, our discussions (“Conversations from Cairo”) will be led by Hannah Gaff (class of 2008).  The first discussion will be Tuesday, September 21, at 4 pm EST (over Zoom); after that, Hannah will be reporting monthly from Cairo, Egypt.

In this first discussion, Hannah plans to talk about the Fulbright program and her project, share a video, chat about prepping for departure for an extended stay in a foreign country, comment on how her double major in Classics and Theatre has informed her career and led her to this opportunity, and then answer any questions.

Hannah is the recipient of a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program award to Egypt.
In Cairo, she will help to lead the Devised Theatre as a Tool for Community Transformation project, which aims to inspire positive public discourse, community connections, reconciliation, and healing through movement and laughter. As a Fulbright Scholar, Hannah will share knowledge and foster meaningful connections across communities in the United States and Egypt.
