2017 College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Distinguished Alumna-in-Residence
A 2009 GVSU graduate with both a BA in Classics and a BA in History, April earned the Masters degree in Library and Information Science, with Graduate Certification in Archival Administration, from Wayne State University in December of 2013.
As the in-house Moving Images Archivist at the Ford Motor Company Archives in Dearborn, Michigan, working for Allied Vaughn, a digital asset management company, April is responsible for preserving and providing access to corporate film and video.
April will discuss how her studies in Classics contribute to her success as an archivist and offer advice for students interested in the profession.
