DESCRIPTION:The Michigan State University College of Human Medicine (CHM) welcomes applications to the West Michigan Pre-Medical Pathways program\, an interactive and informative program for undergraduate students attending college in West Michigan who are interested in a career in medicine. In addition to learning about MSU CHM\, Pathways students will hear from physicians about various medical specialties\, participate in hands-on simulation activities\, engage with current medical students\, and receive valuable information from the CHM Office of Admissions about how to prepare for the medical school application process.\n\n\n\nApplicants are required to have a 2.5 cumulative GPA to apply. LOCATION:Pathways events will take place at the MSU Secchia Center\, located along the medical mile in downtown Grand Rapids. Most of the curriculum will take place in person\, with the possibility of shifting to virtual meetings if extenuating circumstances arise.\n\n\n\nAccepted students will participate in nine sessions on Thursday evenings from 6\:00-7\:30pm. Sessions will run from early October to mid-April.
