Making Online Appointments
Below you can select Teachable Majors and Minors, Pre-Professional Advising, Advising for CLAS Majors Pursuing PA or PT, or All Other CLAS Majors/minors. After that, you will be able to see who advises for your major/minor.
- If you have changed or will be changing your major and/or minor, you will want to meet with the advisor for that new major and/or minor.
- If you are a double major/minor/pre-professional program, please schedule your appointment with the advisor who works with the program you have the most questions about.
- If you have been dismissed, are in jeopardy of dismissal, on academic probation (overall GPA below 2.0), or are re-entering the university after having been away for a year or longer, call (616) 331-8585 or stop by the CLAS Academic Advising Center (Mackinac Hall C-1-140) to schedule an appointment. Please do not make an appointment online.
WALK-IN WEDNESDAYS: During the fall and winter semesters, advisors are also available for first-come, first-served walk-in advising on Wednesday's from 9:00 am -12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
For Graduate Teacher Certification or Endorsements please call our office at (616) 331-8585 rather than scheduling an appointment through the online system.
For students interested in pursuing Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, Veterinary, Optometry, Chiropractic, or Podiatry programs.
If you are a College of Liberal Arts & Sciences (CLAS) Major interested in pursuing Physician Assistant or Physical Therapy graduate programs, click the button above for major advising.
