Joel Stillerman, professor of sociology, was interviewed by the New York Times for a story about the burgeoning trend of minimalist home decoration and tiny houses.


Bill Hosterman, associate professor of art and design, was named an artist-in-residence at Crooked Tree Arts Center in Good Hart. Hosterman will be working at the center through June 9, leading various workshops and demonstrations.


Chelsea Brehm, part-time faculty of movement science, gave a presentation, "Rookies & Vets: Advice for Interns and Supervisors," at the Females in Athletic Business Conference at Michigan State University.


John Kilbourne, professor of movement science, served as a consultant for a documentary film, "The Motivation Factor," which premiered at the Life Fest Film Festival in Hollywood, California.
