It's a fun and sexy time inside, but lurking outside the doors of the club is the burgeoning power of the Nazi party.
Berlin 1930. American novelist, Cliff, is searching for inspiration when he finds lodging at Frau Schneider’s place above the notorious Kit Kat Club. Led by a saucy Emcee and the sassy showgirl Sally Bowles,, the free wheeling performers at the club turn Cliff’s world upside down. It is a fun and sexy time, yet lurking outside the doors is the burgeoning power of the Nazi party. Can Cliff and Sally and the others find happiness as anti-Semitism and homophobia rise? Cabaret and it’s unforgettable songs took America by storm 50 years ago, but its themes remain shockingly relevant today.
