  1.   Announcement – new CLAS Academic Advising Center Director 

After an incredibly competitive and exciting search, the search committee for the Director of the CLAS Academic Advising Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Catherine Buyarski as the new director of the Center. She brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and credentials to this vital role. She begins on Monday, July 18 and we look forward to welcoming her to the Center and to the College. 

 

2. CLAS Start-Up Meeting for Faculty and Staff 

We look forward to seeing all CLAS faculty and staff at the College start-up meeting on Thursday, August 25. All full and part-time faculty and staff in the College are invited and encouraged to attend. Unit heads, please make sure that all employees in your unit know they are invited and welcome to attend. More details will follow! 

8:30-9:30 a.m. Coffee Reception 

9:30-11 a.m. Program 

11 a.m. President Mantella and Provost Mili 

Lunch under the tent will follow the formal program.
