The Children's Enrichment Center (CEC) has been a part of Grand Valley since the 1970's. It is housed under the Student Services Division of the University and provides early education and care for GV students, faculty, staff, and the community at large. The current facility was constructed in 1995. The capacity for the building is 64 children. The CEC is licensed by the State of Michigan, accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and is a four star accredited Great Start to Quality Center. Children need to be 2 1/2 years old (30 months) in order to be enrolled in the CEC.
The CEC is proud to be part of Grand Valley's "grand tradition" and takes pride in "educating Grand Valley's youngest students".
