CLAS honors Felix Ngassa with service award

CLAS honors Felix Ngassa with service award

Felix Ngassa is the recipient of the 2016 CLAS Annual Faculty Service Award.  Dr. Ngassa was honored for his extensive service to the University as a member of the Faculty Senate where he has served on the Executive Committee and currently holds the post of Vice Chair of the Senate.  He has been noted for his ability to “see multiple perspectives and to be an advocate and strong voice for faculty.”  Among many other activities, Professor Ngassa serves as the Chair of the Public Safety Liaison committee, is a grader for AP Chemistry exams and is a regular volunteer at the regional Science Olympiad tournament.
