Dr. Daisy Fredricks is Appointed as the New Director of Teacher Education

We are pleased to announce Dr. Daisy Fredricks as our new Director of Teacher Education in the GVSU - College of Education and Community Innovation.
Dr. Fredricks has been a faculty member in the Department of Teaching and Learning at GVSU since 2017 and has experience as a former bilingual, elementary, and middle school classroom teacher who has taught in under-served schools in Michigan, Texas and Arizona.
Daisy will take over from Dr. Amy Schelling who has led our efforts in teacher education since 2019. We are grateful for Dr. Schelling's leadership in establishing relationships outside our college and for her significant contributions in advancing our initial certification programs.
