ExCel Camp students learn about careers in Education

This summer, 48 Battle Creek Central High School seniors attended the Exploring Careers in Education and Leadership (ExCEL) camp held at the Battle Creek STEM Innovation Center and sponsored by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, Battle Creek Public Schools, and GVSU Education Programs. The ExCEL camp is a one-week camp designed to help students think about careers in education, gain opportunities to be a student leader and prepare for pursuing a college education. Students in the GVSU Education Programs served as camp counselors.
