Andrew "Andy" Lukasik (MPA '08) becomes new Deputy City Manager for Boca Raton

In his new role as Deputy City Manager for the City of Boca Raton, FL, Andrew “Andy” Lukasik (MPA '98), will help manage the activities of the City and City Manager’s Office, overseeing numerous City departments and divisions.

His background in strategic planning, priority-based budgeting, economic development, regional and local traffic issues, and increased community engagement make him well suited in helping continue Boca Raton’s innovation as a City and award-winning level of community services.

“In addition to his education and experience in public administration, Mr. Lukasik brings a high level of enthusiasm and commitment to serve our community,” commented Leif Ahnell, City Manager. “He is a valued addition to the organization and to the City Manager’s Office, and we are excited he has joined our team.”
