Override Request Process

To request a registration override prior to your registration day you will need to go to Student --> Registration --> Search for Classes --> Select Term --> Select Course Subject --> Select Course Number --> At the bottom of the form look for the "Registration Override Request Form" link. Note the course subject and section you are requesting permission for so that you can enter it on the next screen.

How to submit a registration override request:

1. If you encounter a registration error message and need to request a registration override you can do so by following these instructions or viewing this tutorial video

2. The request will be reviewed and you will receive a decision via email from the reviewer within 1-2 business days. If you do not receive a response, there may have been an error during the submission process. Send an inquiry email to the appropriate person (contacts below).

3. If the request is approved, you are not automatically registered for the course. You are responsible for logging into MyBanner and adding the course to your schedule. Remember to follow up with course registration if appropriate once you receive the decision.
