Welcome to Grand Valley State University (GVSU) College of Community and Public Service (CCPS). Our website will guide you through the programs and services in CCPS. Our mission is to provide a quality education with faculty who are committed to teaching, scholarship, and service. With a large number of choices for undergraduate and graduate programs, you will find an ideal major to nurture your desire for learning and to help set you on your path to a successful career. You will discover challenging and skill-building programs in the growing fields of criminal justice, legal studies, hospitality and tourism management, public administration, nonprofit management, health administration, and social work. Nowhere else can you better connect your career goals with your desire to improve our communities and build a better world. If you have just graduated from High School, a returning student, or a lifelong learner, CCPS has a program for you. In addition to our academic programs, we have the CCPS Undergraduate Advising Center to assist you in program planning. Finally, as our name states, we have a commitment to community engagement and you will see this first hand in the many 'high impact' experiential learning opportunities our programs offer. That commitment is further highlighted by the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy, one of the nation's leading centers for philanthropy training, nonprofit services, and community-based research.
