This laboratory course is designed to simulate the clinical laboratory setting and provide students with the hands-on experience and practice needed to build their skill and competency in pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical testing. Emphasis is placed on the following disciplines: hemostasis, transfusion medicine, hematology, urinalysis, clinical chemistry, immunoserology, and microbiology. Course is graded credit/no credit. Prerequisites: MLS 372, M LS 422, and MLS 417.
