1. Tell us about your journey since graduation.
After I graduated from GVSU, I went to work for GRCC as a career coach for one year. In 2017 I left the USA to serve in the Peace Corps in Ecuador. In 2019 I returned to the USA after 27 months of service as a secondary English teacher. Then I moved to Houghton, MI to work as an assistant director for Michigan Technological University's career services. In 2021 I moved to Chicago, IL to begin working for DePaul University. I currently work for DePaul University as an assistant director in the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.

2. Share a favorite Grand Valley memory.
My graduate assistantship provided some very fond memories and experiences. I loved working for GVSU's Career Center, and I made so many lifelong friends in the CSAL program. GVSU was truly a special place that allowed me to excel in my graduate work and professional life.

3. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
"Lead life with love." This is difficult in practice, but it is life changing.

4. List three words you would use to describe your Grand Valley experience.
Fun, Professional, Community-oriented

5. What difference would you like to make in the world?
I want to help the world choose love. If everyone chooses to view their daily life through a lens of love, the world will be a better place. Through my daily interactions with other people, I want to showcase what it means to lead a life of love. This includes the professional world, not just personal. If organizations choose to make decisions based on love, they will have a positive and direct impact on the local and global society. The world cannot live without love.
